During A Dangerous Game while you’re in the Dwarf Caesar Bilzen’s house you may come across a Soldier Statuette. Bring it to Triss and she’ll decompress the soldier. This must be completed before Now or Never or you’ll need to wait until much later in the game.

The Soldier is from Nilfgaard and was transformed into a statue by Coral during a battle. This has no bearing on the main story but is an interesting side quest.
