Secrets: 4
Shoot the Sigil to your left to open the door in front of you and take out the Cacodemon.
There are dozens of Lost Souls behind the bars but they’ll only teleport in to your area a few at a time.
Follow the passage around to the left for a Chaingun and the next Sigil. This opens the wall next to it so you can run around for the Red Key.
Now head back around to the right and press the Red Button. This lifts up the barrier so you can continue further into the level.
As you move forwards you’ll trigger a couple of Cacodemons and a few Barons of Hell to spawn into the room. It’s a good time for the BFG if you can get them to group together.
The Soul Sphere is on the other side of the bars, teasingly out of reach. But make sure you grab the Backpack hidden in the dark on the south side of this room, to the left of the fireplace.
Continue around until you find the wall that’s opened up with the portal behind it. Go through to teleport to the southeastern section of this level. There are three buildings in the center but you’ll want to clear out the roaming enemies first.
Find the stairs heading up in the southern building. Take out the Specter and Shotgunner and then pick up the Berserk Pack if you need the health.
Dash across to the next building, drop down and make your way back up the stairs. Dash across to the next building again and this time you’ll see Secret #1 has opened up on the eastern side.
Inside you’ll find a box of bullets and health. Open the green wall on the north side of the first secret for Secret #2 with a BFG guarded by a couple of Imps.
Dash across to the ledge and make your way around. The walls will open on the eastern side to a room filled with enemies. If you dash across to the eastern building a crusher will activate and kill them all.
Once again you may notice a green wall, this time on the northern side. This is Secret #3. Open the wall for health and a cell pack.
Dash across to the south to find a teleporter. This takes you back to the first area but on the other side of the bars so you can grab the Soul Sphere.
Continue forwards and you’ll drop down to the first boss, a Spider Mastermind!
Quickly run up to it and use the BFG before it rises to ground level and you should be able to take it out in a single shot.
Next you’ll face boss #2, a Cyberdemon. Dodge his rockets and use the BFG to finish him off. Clear out the remaining enemies.
Stepping on the pentagram with the Sigil ends the campaign but there’s one more secret and a final boss.
Go through the gap in the bars to the north for Secret #4. Run around to find a single enemy, a Zombieman. Is this the true final boss?
Take him out then head back to the Sigil to complete the campaign.
