Back to Witcher 3

The first Act of Witcher 3 is by far the largest and includes three main story threads that you need to complete as you search for Ciri in Velen, Novigrad and Skellige.

The quest journal gives you the optimal path for searching for Ciri as Velen is the easiest and Skelligie is the hardest. You must complete all three story threads before moving on to the next Act.

If you thought White Orchard was big you’ll be in for a shock when you get to Velen. You don’t need to complete all of the side quests at once. You can move between Velen, Novigrad and Skellige as you like so if something is too difficult or out of the way you can always come back to it later.
