Frontier – Highlands

Pull the switch to the left to open both doors and go to the left. We’ll be finding the remaining containment units first before make our escape.

From the flashback room take the ladder up. Continue up and around to the right to the entrance to the Nuclear Power Plant.

Nuclear Power Plant

Go to the right, down and back to the left. Continue down and take the narrow path to the right.

Pull the switch to open the door and make sure you have a charge. Take the next exit to the right and pull up the metal plug in the water. Take the pipe down.

Use the shield to get past the bomb and the path down. You’ll want to drop off biomass twice into the pool above so you’re in Stage 1 creature form. You’ll need this to get past a laser.

Go through the open door and pull the switch to activate the laser and open the barrier. Use invisibility to go through. Take control of the android and use it to blast open the door with the bomb. You can sneak past the bomb dispenser by going through the passage underneath.

Inside the Containment Unit you’ll find Electrosis to increase your max energy level. Backtrack to the exit.

Frontier – Highlands

Go left and back down to the cavern with the flashback. Take the path leading down and enter through the door. This takes you to the Control Room. You’ll be able to see the status of all the areas in the game.

Areas where a containment unit is still accessible will have a locked symbol next to it. Head back out, pull the switch and go through the door to the right.

Go past the research lab and take the pipe down into the water. Harpoon or break the wooden barrier and continue down. Enter through the open door.

This takes you to the Containment Unit. Break it open for Polycheiria, a third prehensile tale. This lets you pick up three items or humans at once.

Head back out and take the large pipe to the left. Follow the ladders down and go to the left. Head up and left. Break the barrier below and take the pipe down to the entrance to the Uranium Mines.

Uranium Mines

Take the passage down and to the right. Head to the bottom right and break through the two barriers. Swim down past the blocks and you’ll be in the room with the containment unit.

You’ll need to be in small form so you can web the charging panel through the blocks. If you need to drop off biomass there’s a pool on the left side.

Pull the switch to activate the lasers and move quarter the way around. Get a fresh charge and move past the next laser.

Once you’ve made it around break the Containment Unit. Inside you’ll find another Max Energy Upgrade.

Take the pipe up and continue up. Head back to the Frontier.

Frontier – Wastelands

Head left as far as you can and then go up and around to the right. You want to head back to the cavern where you had the third flashback.

From there go straight to the left and you’ll find the entrance to the Leviathan Reef.

Leviathan Reef Base

Go through the door and then to the left. Take the pipe down into the water. Go down again and then to the right. Take the tunnel up.

At the intersection go right. In the next room use harpoons to pull out the metal plug.

Continue all the way to the right ad use the shield to prevent damage from the bomb. Follow the path up and pull the switch to open one door and close another. This should give you access to the charging station from this side.

Go through the pipes to the water and head up to the charging station. Get a charge, go back to the switch and pull it to change the doors around. This will give you access to the charging station from the left side.

Head back into the water and take the lower path past the bomb. Use the shield to protect yourself from the blast. Get a charge and continue to the left.

Use the shield once more so you can make it to the Containment Unit. Inside this one you’ll find Fire Resistance.

Go back to the left, up through the large pipe, through the door and back to the Frontier.

Frontier – Marshlands

Pull open the metal plug and take the passage down. Drop off biomass, push open the next plug. Grab your biomass again.

Pull out the next plug and pull the switch. This will raise the water level in the next room. Take the passage up and to the left. Head up as the room fills with water.

Enter the Relith Science HQ or go one screen to the right to open the shortcut if you haven’t done so already.

The final containment unit can be found straight across to the right. Break through the metal plug and have a look around.

Go back and drop off biomass so you’re Stage 1 Creature. Enter the door to the right and pull the switch. This activates the laser and opens the door.

Sneak past the laser and pull the switch below. This opens one hatch and closes another in the pool to the left.

Now you can drop off the biomass in this closer pool so that when you get through the laser you can pull the switch and the biomass will drop down to the room below.

You’ll need the large form in the room below to bash through the barrier so you can reach the Containment Unit.

Inside you’ll find the final Max Energy Upgrade. Take the pipe to the left and head left back to the entrance to the Frontier.

Frontier – Marshlands (Escape)

Head to the right and down to the flashback room. Take the path down to the right just below the Bunker. Continue right to the entrance to the BSL-4 Research Ward.

BSL-4 Research Ward

This is where you began the game but you’re back now with all of your abilities except one that you’ll need to escape. You’ll need to be able to mimic a human to use the hand scanner.

Break the glass to the left and then the barriers so you can go through the pipe. Make your way through the rooms to the left.

Head up through a glass barrier and take the exit to the left. Go down to the Anomalous Materials Vault. This is the starting area.

Follow the path to the right. Clear out the enemies and then take the pipe in the water up to the Containment Unit.

Break it open to find an upgraded version of Parasitism. This ability lets you transform into a human.

Use the ability and then use the hand scanner to open the doors. Run to the right and head up the ladders and lift freedom!
