Ender Lilies Chapter 4 Walkthrough

After defeating the Dark Witch Eleine and getting the ability to swim and attack under water we can head back to some previous water areas for more pickups. Return to the Respite at C14.

Backtracking

From the Respite before the Chapter 3 boss jump into the water and take the underwater exit to the left. Keep swimming to the left at C11 and you’ll find Stagnant Blight.

Swim up to the ledge and take the waterfall up so you can climb back up to C9 or fast travel to the respite. Take the door on the left down to C10.

Drop into the water on the right and swim down, then back to the left. Follow the tunnel around and into a little cave on the right for Furious Blight.

Continue swimming to the left and get up onto the ledge on the left. There is a lever here that opens a door briefly but first climb up the ledges to the top where you’ll find the Tarnished Picture and the Teal Lamp to open the shortcut back to the entrance.

Drop back down under the chain and break the Teal Lamp half way down. Go back to the Lever, pull it and quickly swim around to the left for the secret exit to C16.

We won’t be able to clear this room but if you head to the left and drop down the ledges with the Tree Witches you’ll find a secret on the right side. Inside you’ll find Furious Blight.

That’s all for now so return to the Respite and Fast Travel back to the Dryad Lake (C5). Head left to C4 and drop down into the water on the left side for a Chain of Sorcery. Just watch out for the Frog Creature.

Leave the water and jump across to the left side of the area. Drop down second or third water pool from the left side to find and Amulet Fragment.

Return to the Respite and Fast Travel to the Crossroads (A11). Drop down into the water under the bridge on the left side to find another Amulet Fragment.

Return to the Respite and Fast Travel to the Bridgehead (B11). Drop into the water on the left and take the lower right exit to B16.

Most of this area is blocked off but you can swim down and grab the Furious Blight.

Go back to the Respite at B11 and take the lower exit down to the left to B10. You can explore the water area here for more Stagnant Blight.

Return to the Respite and Fast Travel to the Collapsed Shack (B5).

Opening the Catacombs

From the Collapsed Shack go right to B8. In the center of the town you’ll find a well with a breakable floor. Use the downward smash to break through to room B15 below.

When you drop down pull the Lever on the left to open the hatch to the Catacombs. You’ll need to access the hatch from B4 which means heading back around.

Return to the Respite at B5 and take the path to the left to B3. Drop down to B4. First go to the left and enter the water on the left side of the room. Swim down for a chest with the Giant’s Ring inside. It increases damage from attacks made while on the ground.

Swim back and head all the way across to the right to B15. Make your way through the room to find the hatch you opened earlier. Swim across to the right and that will take you to the Catacombs.

The Catacombs

When you enter D1 and hop out of the water grab Fretia’s Ring, which gives you the ability to Parry and take a rest at the Respite. Head to the right and drop down to D2. Drop down to the bottom and you’ll find Stagnant Blight to the bottom left.

You’ll find many Swinging and Ground Spiders in the Catacombs. They have a ranged fireball attack and swipe at you if you get too close.

Make your way across to the right and enter D3. Take the higher path past the Archer and watch out for the Pot Monster when you break through the door. Jump up the ledges to the higher level and go back to the left. Double-jump across to the ledge above where you entered for Furious Blight.

Go back to the right and up to the higher level. This time make your way to the right and take the lift up to D16.

You can go straight to the right but we’ll do a loop around to the left to pick up an amulet. Make your way to the higher level and jump across the pillars and ledges to the Amulet Fragment.

You will need to take out all the Spiders in this cavern to open the exit doors. Once the room is clear go right to D17 where you’ll find a Respite and The Next White Priestess finding.

The path down is blocked so go right to D18. You’ll notice some Stagnant Blight just ahead but if you run over to it you’ll fall down a pit and need to make your way back around to it from the other side.

From here return to the right and drop down the small tunnel into the water.

Swim through the water and make your way up and back to the left for the Defense of the Twin Spires 1 finding.

Continue to the left to pull the Lever and open the door, then go back to the right and take the exit to D19. Make your way across the cavern and then take the lift down to D6 for a Respite.

Just to the left you’ll find Silva’s Note 1. Go right to D7 and immediately down to D8 for a Boss Fight. To get to the boss you’ll need to head to the right and jump across the ledges over a toxic lake.

Fallen Archer Boss Fight

If you have any kind of ranged attack the Fallen Archer is quite simple. Duck under his single shot or multi shot arrows.

Stand up between attacks and fire back with something like Dark Witch Eleine. After the fight you’ll get the Fallen Archer spirit. Before you leave walk all the way to the right for the Priestess’ Wish.

Head back up to D7. Now we’ll explore the rest of this room. I like to use the Fallen Archer spirit to take out the Swinging Spiders from a distance. About half way up jump across to the right and break the jars for an Amulet Fragment.

Continue up and to the right for The Heirloom of Land’s End finding on a ledge.

Continue up again and make your way across to the right. Jump down along the right wall to find a secret cave. Inside you’ll find Stagnant Blight.

You can head back to the Respite if you want or continue up to D20. You can’t do much at D20 yet except grab the Fretia’s Memoirs 3 finding.

From the Respite at D6 drop down to D9. To the right you’ll find Silva’s Note 2. Go further right into the water to find Furious Blight. Make your way back to the left and take the exit to D10.

Slam on the ground just at the entrance to find a hidden spot under the skulls. You’ll then need to drop down under the skulls like dropping down from a ledge. Grab the Amulet Fragment and continue on.

In the water to the left is a secret exit to D15 but it’s blocked off by a hatch. To open it you’ll need to find the Lever. Continue a little to the left and smash down on the skulls that look a bit odd. You’ll find another secret spot with the Lever.

Pull the lever, go back to the right and take the underwater exit to D15. Head to the left to find 2 Ancient Souls. These can be used to upgrade your main weapon, the Umbral Knight, twice.

Go back up the waterfall to D10 and then left to D11 where you’ll find Fretia’s Memoirs 4 finding, a Lever to open the door to a Respite and another finding, Defense of the Twin Spires 2.

Take the lift up to D13. Break through the door to the left to find a relic, Kilteus’ Ring. Break through the door to the right to find Fretia’s Memoirs 2. Take the lift up a level and go all the way to the right for Fretia’s Memoirs 1.

Return to the Respite and Fast Travel to the Bottom of the Well (D1). Drop down to D2 and then make your way around to the higher ledge so you can smash down and break through the floor to D12.

Go all the way to the right first to open up the door back to the Respite at D11. Then go back to the left, dive into the water and pull up into the secret cave for Stagnant Blight.

Continue to the left for a boss fight.

Ancient Crypt Keeper Boss Fight

The Crypt Keeper has a fireball attack that traps you in a web, a downward smash with area of effect and a lunge. If you have some powerful attacks you can mostly tank her damage. Otherwise dodge out of the way of the lunge and fireballs and jump when she does the downward smash.

Once she’s been defeated and purified you’ll gain the Ancient Crypt Keeper spirit. Return to the Respite and Fast Travel to Charnel (D11) if you’re not there already.

Take the exit to the right to D10 and follow the top platforms until you can exit above to D14.

D14 has a series of levers and lifts leading to the top. The hidden lever on the first level is on the left side behind a jar on a ledge. Pull it and take the lift up to the second level.

On the second level go to the left first and climb up the ledges. On the top left behind a jar you’ll find an Amulet Fragment.

The lever is on the right side on a ledge behind a jar. Pull it and take the lift up to the top level.

On the third level go left break all the jars to find the lever. Pull it and ride the lift up to the top level. On the top level go right first and break all the jars to find a Chain of Sorcery. Then head to the left for the exit up to D4.

This is a little training room. Jump across the ledges to the top right for Stagnant Blight. Then go up to D17, open the hatch and rest at the Respite before the big boss fight.

Go back to D4 and then right to D5 for the boss fight. Before stepping forwards make sure you pick up the Unfinished Note from the floor.

Guardian Silva Boss Fight

For the boss I use two sets of attacks. Set one has Guardian Siegrid for the knockdown effect and the Western Merchant for sustained damage over time. The second set is for the final phase of the fight and uses the Fallen Archer instead of the Western Merchant for massive damage.

Guardian Silva has a hammer swing and fireball attack. Once you learn to dodge these attacks the first form of Silva is not too difficult. It may take a few attempts to figure out the timing. in the second part of the first form she’ll leap off the ground for a multi-fireball attack.

Once she’s been defeated she’ll morph into her second form. This is a much larger version of Silva and in this form she has a charge, slash, large fireball attack and summon fire pillars.

I use the Fallen Archer here to get up close and cause massive damage. Finishing her off quickly is the key to beating the final form of Guardian Silva.

Once she’s been defeated you’ll get the Guardian Silva spirit and Guardian’s Wings which gives you a proper dash rather than the falling over dodge.

Head to the right to D6, then double-jump and dash to the Furious Blight.

Continue over to the right for the Respite.
