Path of Exile 2 has been released for Early Access by Grinding Gear Games and is the latest release in the action RPG genre. It’s set in the years following the original game and takes place in the same world, Wraeclast, as you try to rid the world of darkness.

Early Access is expected to last for at least 6 months. During this time there will be some rebalancing of character builds, items and the economy. The Early release version already includes a campaign that runs for three Acts. During the campaign you’ll face dozens of bosses and hundreds of enemy types.

No Rest for the Wicked has just been released for early access on PC, Xbox and PS5. The developers, Moon Studios, are the ones who brought you Ori and the Blind Forest and Ori and the Will of the Wisps. They’ve taken a slightly different approach here and switched to action RPG. Will a change of genre pay off for Moon Studios?

No Rest for the Wicked features a hand-crafted world with meticulous detail as you would expect from Moon Studios. Each of the locations has its own theme with unique characters, treasures and secrets to find. It’s not just about combat and exploration, you can also purchase your own property in the town of Sacrament. Here you’ll be able to harvest ingredients, cook food and decorate your home.

Sons of Valhalla launched for PC on April 5th with mixed reviews. It’s heavily inspired by Kingdom with side scrolling strategy and base building. It features charming pixel art based in the Viking Age.

You play as a Thorald Olavson, a Viking who’s seeking revenge on the one who burned down his home and kidnapped his beloved. You’ll need to establish a base, build an army and lead your troops to victory.

Nightdive Studios have just released the fully remastered Star Wars: Dark Forces. Once again you’ll be infiltrating the Empire in order to stop their reign of terror. This time you can enjoy all the action with 4k resolution at 120fps, high res textures, enhanced lighting and gamepad support.

Dark Forces takes place on Empire capital ships and worlds over 14 levels. You’ll have ten weapons at your disposal to take out the numerous enemies on each level.
