Bottomless Quarry

The Bottomless Quarry is the counterpart for the Knuckler’s Quarry in the Shovel Knight’s quest. You’ll need to use the Vat to get through some tricky areas of this level. It can be found by trading the Throwing Anchor to Chester in Iron Whale.

Use the Vat to make it up to the ledge with the chest. There’s only gems inside. Continue to the right for another tricky section with Cipher Coins. Drop down and place a Vat underneath you. Jump up and break the wall to the left for 2 hidden Cipher Coins.

You’ll need to use the Vat a couple of times to make it across the gap to the right and up to the ledges above.

Continue to the right and break the highest of the three blocks to reveal a Cipher Coin behind it.

Make your way around the ledges and spikes and then climb the ladder. You’ll find two chests. The first has Music Sheet #23 and the other is filled with gems.

Walk off the screen to the right to complete the level.

Shivering Sprint

The Shivering Sprint is the counterpart to Frigid Flight.  You’ll need to have the Fleet Flask from the Clockwork Tower to get past certain areas of this level. The Fleet Flask gives you a forward dash that doesn’t end until you hit a solid object or stop it manually.

Make your way to the right and get in the cannon. You’ll be shot through the wall to the right. You’ll need to use the Fleet Flask to charge across because the spiked wall will start closing in behind you. You can continue to jump and the charge will still be active when you land again.

Once you reach the end you’ll be rewarded with Music Sheet #24 and a chest full of gems.
