Gobliiins 1 Walkthrough
Gobliiins 1 is a comedy adventure game by Coktel Vision and features three rather goofy elves, Hooter, Dwanyne and BoBo, from the Kingdom of King Angoulafre.
The King is cursed by voodoo which is causing him much suffering and driving him insane. The elves have been sent to find a wizard to free the King from this evil curse.
The Three Gobliiins
To complete this game you’ll need to navigate your way through a number of different scenes. Each of the elves has his own special ability so they’ll need to work together to finish the quest.
Hooter is the magician and can perform a number of spells. Unfortunately you never know what spell he will cast, if he does anything at all.
Dwayne seems to be the most sensible of the three. He’s a technician and is able to pick up items and use them. Unfortnately he can only hold one item at a time.
BoBo is the warrior who likes to hit things. He’s also strong enough to climb up ropes.
Click on an elf to switch characters or click on the portrait in the bottom center of the screen. Right click to change your mouse icon from walk/select to the action icon. Dwayne has a third icon, pick up/drop.
Gobliiins 1 Walkthrough
Scene 1: Outside the Wizard’s House
BoBo – Punch the pillar on the right
Dwayne – Pick up the horn and then switch to the action button to blow the horn. A stick will fall down from the sky.
Hooter – Use magic on the stick to turn it into a pickaxe.
Dwayne – Drop the horn and pick up the pickaxe.
Scene 2: The Apple Tree and Diamond Mine
Hooter – Climb up the ladder and use magic on the first apple on Hooter’s left to make it bigger. Use your magic again on the apple to the far right to make it bigger.
BoBo – Punch both large apples so that they drop.
Dwayne – Drop the pickaxe and then pick up one apple and drop it between the sides of the broken bridge. Pick up the second apple and drop it in the same place. You can now walk across the bridge. Pick up the pickaxe and use it on the glimmer on the rock to get the diamond.
Scene 3: Back at the Wizard’s House
Dwanye – Use the diamond on front door.
Scene 4: Inside the Wizard’s House
Hooter – Cast a spell on the plant to the left to make it grow taller.
Dwayne – Drop the diamond. Climb up the table to the left and pick up the pot with a wasp in it (pot#1). Use the pot on the plant to the right to release the wasp. The plant will eat the wasp allowing BoBo to get past.
BoBo – Climb up the plant to the left and walk over to the book. Hit the book.
Dwayne – Pick up the diamond. Climb up the book and then place the diamond in the wizard’s hand.
Scene 5: The Giant Statue Room
Hooter – Cast a spell on the branch to the right side of the statue to make it grow taller.
BoBo – Climb up the branch and punch the statue in the eye. The statue’s tongue will roll down. Keep BoBo up next to the eye.
Dwayne – Position Dwayne on the tongue.
Hooter – Cast a spell on the ornament above the coffin and then run back down to stand on the tongue with Dwayne.
BoBo – Before the zombie gets close lift the tongue up by hitting the eye again. The zombie will walk under the tongue and scare away the hunchback.
Dwayne – Pick up the mushroom that’s revealed when the hunchback runs away. Wait for the zombie to make it back to the coffin to end the level.
Scene 6: The Spider Cave
BoBo – Climb up the thread on the right that belongs to the spider sitting on the bridge. On the top ledge punch either of the two threads until you find the one that lifts the center spider up.
Dwayne – Walk across the bridge and pick up the pistol. Shoot just under the top left spider to scare him away. Pick up the pillow and place it in the middle of the bridge on the stone platform.
Hooter – Cast a spell on the spider dangling over the pillow. He’ll drop a big red potion.
Dwayne – Pick up the big red potion. Pick up the pistol and shoot just under the big spider to the right. He’ll move up a little so you can get into the cave.
Scene 7: The Garden Field
Hooter – Climb the tree and cast a spell on the bag to bring it a little closer along the branch. Walk Hooter to the end of the branch on the right and leave him there.
Dwayne – Climb up the tree and pick up the bag of seeds. Bring the bag down to the tilled soil and scatter the seeds.
BoBo – Before the chickens eat the seeds punch the scarecrow to scare away the chickens.
Hooter – Cast a spell on the second cloud to the right to make it rain and grow the plant.
Dwayne – Pick up the plant to end the level.
The gobliiins hand the items to the wizard who then turns on them and sends them to prison!
Scene 8: The Prison
Hooter – Cast a spell on the skeleton to have him get up and throw a bone away. Cast a spell on the bone to turn it into a flute.
Dwayne – Pick up the flute and play it to the snake. The snake will unwind and create a pole that BoBo can climb up.
BoBo – Climb up the snake.
Hooter – Position Hooter on the left hand side of the loose floorboards on the right.
BoBo – Head over to the rocks on the right and punch them. A rock will shake loose and land on the end of the floorboard, flipping Hooter up to the top ledge.
Dwayne – Position him on the board just like Hooter.
BoBo – Punch the rocks again to lift Dwayne up.
Scene 9: The Mad Dog In Front Of The Wizards House
Dwayne – Keep your distance from the dog and run around by the tree to grab the meat. Change to the action icon and keep the meat to yourself.
Scene 10: The Giant Tree
Dwayne – Use the meat on the hole to the left of the ladder. Climb up the tree and pick up the windsock.
Hooter – Cast a spell on the small branch to the right side of the tree. Leave Hooter standing on the edge of the branch.
BoBo – Walk onto the rock under the branch and pull on the vine. This will fling Hooter to the branch above.
Dwayne – Walk to the same place Hooter was standing.
BoBo – Fling Dwayne onto the branch above as you did with Hooter.
Hooter – Walk to the left side and cast a spell on the cork.
Dwayne – Go over and pick up the cork. Place the cork in one of the holes on this level. Pick up the windsock and place it over one of the other holes.
BoBo – Punch the bird at the bottom of the tree.
Dwayne – With the windsock catch the bird the BoBo punches.
Scene 11: The Mad Dog Guarding The Wizard’s House
Dwayne – Show the bird to the dog. You’ll need to walk around close to the tree and find a spot where you can get close enough to the dog to release the bird.
Hooter – Cast a spell on the dog while he’s barking at the bird. The dog will fly away.
BoBo – Punch the door on the left of the porch.
Scene 12: Inside the Wizard’s House
Dwayne – Pick up the feather and tickle the skeletons foot with it. Pick up the cup and ball and give it to the skeleton. Pick up the key and give it to the imp in the cage.
Hooter – Cast a spell on the feather to turn it into a flyswatter.
Dwayne – Pick up the flyswatter and use it on the wasp.
Hooter – Cast a spell on the wasp to turn it into a dart.
Dwayne – Pick up the dart and throw it at the picture of the wizard. Climb up the table and pick up the elixir. Walk past the figurine to the right.
Scene 13: The Wizard’s Graveyard
Hooter – Cast a spell on the tree stump.
Dwayne – Pick up the bird call that appears and use it by the tree.
Hooter – Climb up the tree to the branch just above the nest.
BoBo – Climb up to the same place as Hooter and punch the egg after the bird has flown away.
Hooter – Cast a spell on the egg. This will fly him to the other side of the graveyard. Now cast a spell on the horn near the gate and move back.
Dwayne – Pick up the elixir and use it near the wizard’s gate. Change the cursor to an arrow and walk him through to the other side of the graveyard. Pick up the carrot and place it next to the mole hole.
Hooter – Once the mole appears cast a spell on it.
BoBo – With the wizard distracted run through the graveyard and exit to the right.
Scene 14: The Carrot Patch
Hooter – Cast a spell on the small stone slab to the right of the two pointed rocks.
Dwayne – Pick up the stick, climb on top of the rocks and place the stick in the hole to the lower right. Pick up the watering can when it appears. Walk back down the rocks and water the carrots.
Hooter – Cast spells on the carrots. One of them will have a key hanging from its nose. One of the carrots will make a woman appear who kisses the elves and restores their health.
BoBo – Punch the carrot with the key on its nose.
Dwayne – Pick up the key and use it on the carrot with a keyhole.
Scene 15: The Rat’s Den
BoBo – Punch the cannon. Punch the cannonballs.
Dwayne – Pick up the cannonball and place it in the cannon. Pick up the matches.
BoBo – Punch the cannon again so that it tilts upwards.
Dwayne – Use the matches to light the fuse. A carrot will fall from the ceiling. Put down the matches and go and pick up the carrot. Place the carrot in the cannon.
BoBo – Punch the cannon again.
Dwayne – Pick up the matches and light the cannon. The carrot will fire into the cooking pot. Use the matches on the cooking pot
BoBo – Punch the cannon and the cannonballs.
Dwayne – Pick up a cannonball and place it in the cannon.
BoBo – Punch the cannon again (Yes this is a long scene but we’re almost done)
Dwayne – Grab the matches and light the cannon fuse. Another carrot will fall.
Hooter – Cast a spell on the carrot.
Dwayne – Pick up the ear trumpet then walk over to the rat and use it on him. Pick up the mallet and use it to strike the gong. A pendulum will fall. Pick up the pendulum and walk out through the gong.
Scene 16: The Giant Floating Statue
Dwayne – Pick up the small stone and place it on the spot marked with an “X”.
Hooter – Cast a spell on the stone. Cast a spell on the stone once more and it will turn into stairs. Climb up the stairs to the palm tree to the left and cast a spell on it.
BoBo – Punch the pickaxe so that it falls down.
Dwayne – Pick up the pendulum. Use it on the ground until it starts to swing wildly. This is the right place to dig. Pick up the pickaxe and dig on the spot where the pendulum indicated.
Scene 17: The Two-Headed Dragon Cave
BoBo – Punch the pile of logs to make a log drop.
Dwayne – Pick up the log and place it in the small trap. Put down the log.
Hooter – Cast a spell on the log to turn it into a can of deodorant. Next cast a spell on the bag on the rock.
Dwayne – Pick up the bag. Walk up the stairs and place it down on the right. Pick up the deodorant and place it next to the bag. Pick up the bag and use the bag to throw down seeds. A foot will start hopping across the screen. Pick up the can of deodorant and when the foot stops spray the foot with the deodorant. Pick up the foot and set it down on the rock in front of the dragons. The dragons will roast the foot. Pick up the foot again and give it to the bridge trap. You are now free to cross the bridge. Pick up the dagger and place it close to the dragons. They will set it on fire. Pick up the flaming dagger and exit the screen to the top.
Scene 18: The Giant Statue
Dwayne – Use the flaming dagger on the statue’s locket. Now place the dagger in the hand on the right side. Pick up the key and use it on the statue’s ear on the left side.
Walk all of the gobliiins to the right side hand and the statue will blow them all out.
Scene 19: The Writer’s Castle
Dwayne – Pick up the fake nose and use it on the writer.
BoBo – Punch the bananas.
Dwayne – Pick up the banana and use it on the writer. Pick up the bar of soap and use it on the writer. The writer will hand Dwayne a book. Pick up the book.
Hooter – Cast a spell on the castle gate.
Scene 20: The Giant Statue In Town
Hooter – Cast a spell on the coat of arms at the bottom of the pedestal.
BoBo – Punch the lever.
Hooter – Cast a spell on the cork in the giant’s ear.
Dwayne – Climb up to the giant’s ear and read the book. The giant will laugh until he cries. Go up the tower on the left and pick up the bait (fish) just inside the door. Place the fish on top of the tower to the right. A monster will come out to have a look. Now pick up the bowl and place it where the giant’s tears are falling. Read the book once more and then pick up the bowl of tears and throw it at the monster. Lastly pick up the catapult.
Scene 21: The River Bank
Dwayne – Use the catapult on the bananas.
BoBo – Walk up the stairs and punch the lever. A fish will appear. Walk the three gobliiins onto the fish.
Scene 22: The Giant Bird Skeleton
Dwayne – Use the catapult on the wizard.
Hooter – Cast a spell on the long stone which will grow into a staircase. Now climb the stairs and cast a spell on the wizard who will turn into some kind of bug and grab Hooter.
Dwayne – This time use the catapult on the rope to the left. The rope will fall down. Pick up the rope and climb up the stairs. Walk close to the bird’s tail bone. Use the rope on the bone spur of the top right of the screen.
BoBo – Climb up the rope and punch the wizard who will turn into a giant spider.
Dwayne – Use the catapult to shoot the rope where BoBo is hanging. Pick up the empty bag and set it down underneath the spider.
Hooter – Cast a spell on the spider. He will turn into little spiders and fall into the bag.
Dwayne – Pick up the bag to capture the wizard and win the game!
