Now that 2020 has come and gone we’re looking ahead to 2021  to see the best games this year has in store for us. The last year has been chaotic for developers and many have had to push back their launches to 2021. This means we should have at least a few great games to choose from, including highly anticipated games such as Halo Infinite, Hitman 3, Hollow Knight: Silksong and many more.

Let’s have a look at some of the best game releases for 2021. Those games with release dates will be listed first. Other games that are expected to release sometime in the next year but don’t have a firm date will be listed afterwards.

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla was released on Nov 11, 2020 for Windows and lets you recreate the epic saga of the Viking invasion of England. You’ll lead your band of Vikings as you raid Saxon troops and fortresses. You’ll wield powerful weapons and fight like a Viking against the most varied group of enemies in any Assassin’s Creed game.

Now that 2019 has come and gone it’s time to take a look at some of the best PC games of the year. It was an interesting year for PC games as there were few AAA titles released. Baldur’s Gate 3 has been officially announced for release for both the PC and Google Stadia. The exact release date is not yet known but at the earliest it will be towards the end of 2019 when Google Stadia is launched.

Over 20 years after the initial release of Baldur’s Gate it’s time to gather your party again and venture forth into the Sword Coast. Baldur’s Gate set the standard for CRPG games and with recent releases such as Divinity: Original Sin II and Pathfinder: Kingmaker the scene is set for the third in what will be a trilogy to make a comeback.

The Bard’s Tale IV: Barrows Deep takes you back to the world of the classic Bard’s Tale games first released over 35 years ago. 150 years after the end of the last series the land is in need of a hero once more. Hidden forces seek to gain control over Skara Brae and the surrounding world and it’s up to you to stop them.

This game features over 40 hours of gameplay, over 100 pieces of atmospheric music and 350 voice acted NPCs. Much of the lore in the classic series is still present in The Bard’s Tale IV although much of the gameplay has been modernized, for better or worse.
