List of Civilizations (A-C)

Here is the list of the current civilizations for Civilization VI. It will updated as more DLC becomes available. There are currently 19 civilizations to choose from with more being expected with at least 4 DLC packs to be released soon. Each leader and civilization will have at least one unique leader bonus and a unique civilization ability.

civ-6-teddyAmerican (Teddy Roosevelt)

Bonus

The Roosevelt Corollary – Units receive +5 Combat Strength when fighting on their home continent. Cities with a National Park receive +1 Appeal to all tiles within the city.

Ability

Founding Fathers – Government legacy bonuses are earned in half the time.

Agenda

Big Stick Policy – Teddy hates it when wars are started on a continent that they share or wars against City-States.

Unit

Rough Rider – Mounted troops that gain culture from kills on the home continent. They are unlocked after researching Rifling Technology.

P-51 Mustang – An air fighter of the modern ara that has +2 range and +5 attack against other aircraft.

Building

Film Studio – This building grants +100% Tourism in the city it is built.

Bonus

Righteousness of the Faith – Worship buildings cost less faith to build and provide bonus science, culture and faith.

Ability

The Last Prophet – If you have not founded a religion and there is room for only one more Great Prophet than Arabia will be given that Great Prophet.

Agenda

Ayyubid Dynasty – Saladin likes it when you have his worship buildings in your city and dislikes you following other religions.

Unit

Mamluk – Heavy cavalry unit that replaces the knight. Mamluk’s will heal every turn even if they have moved or attacked.

Building

Madrasa – Replaces the University and provides additional faith.

Bonus

Legend of the Five Suns – You may use Builders to rush the production of Districts. One builder charge will give 20% of the district production.

Ability

Gifts for the Tlatoani – Luxury resources when improved give amenities to an additional 2 cities and military units receive +1 combat strength for each unique luxury improved by the Aztecs.

Agenda

Tlatoani – He likes civilizations who have the same luxury resources as he does and dislikes those who don’t.

Unit

Eagle Warrior – Replaces the Warrior. It may turn defeated enemies into Builders.

Building

Tlachtli – This is an Entertainment building that provides amenities, faith and Great General points.

civ-6-pedro-iiBrazilian (Pedro II)

Bonus

Magnanimous – After acquiring a Great Person Pedro can recoup 20% of the points used to acquire that person.

Ability

Amazon – Rainforests give a +1 adjacency bonus to Campus, Commercial Hub, Holy Site and Theater Square districts. They also provide +1 housing when next to Neighborhoods.

Agenda

Patron of the Arts – Pedro likes Great People and dislikes it when civilizations take the Great Person he was trying to get.

Unit

Minas Geraes – A unique battleship unlocked through Nationalism.

Building

Street Carnival – Replaces the Entertainment district. Allows the city to start the Carnival City Project which turns production into amenities and provides extra Great Person points.

civ-6-qin-shi-huangChinese (Qin Shi Huang)

Bonus

The First Emperor – Builders receive an additional charge. Builders can be used to hurry production of Ancient and Classical era wonders by using a charge to complete 15% of it.

Ability

Dynastic Cycle – Eureka moments will provide 60% of the cost of a technology or civic rather than the usual 50%.

Agenda

Wall of 10,000 Li – Huan dislikes others who have built more wonders than him.

Unit

Crouching Tiger – High powered ranged unit that is unlocked with the Machinery technology.

Building

Great Wall – In early eras the Great Wall provides a bonus to defense and gold. In later eras it gives bonuses to culture and tourism.
