Back to Novigrad

Carsten is a small village to the south west of the Vegelbud Residence. When you enter the village you may see several men gathered outside a barred up barn.

Talk to the men and offer to help. If you attempt to leave one of them will recognize that you’re a Witcher and ask for your help. You must deal with this quest now. If you leave and come back the monsters will break out and the village will be deserted.

Enter the barn and the villagers will lock you inside as they’re scared the monsters will get out. Inside you’ll find 4 Ghouls. Kill them and the villagers will open the doors.

Have a look around the barn if you want and then talk to the men to complete the quest.
