The What Lies Beneath quest will trigger when you first discover that one of the suspects is innocent. This isn’t a quest that you specifically need to do anything to complete. During your investigations you will begin to suspect that Raymond Maarloeve (#1) has something to do with it.

Once you find the body of the real Raymond Maarloeve in the Crypt (#2) in the Cemetery then you’ll figure out the Azar Javed is pretending to be the detective. After the autopsy of the body you and Kalkstein will team together to defeat Azar Javed, as long as you perform the autopsy correctly.
