Valley of the Trolls

Magic Items: Banner of Wrath, Potion of Strength

Enemy Units: Lots of upset Trolls

Deployment: Bring Ceridan, the Grudgebringer Cavalry and whatever unit you want to grab the Banner. The Mercenary Crossbows (MC) are a good fit for the Banner of Wrath.

Strategy: Place the MC in the north-west corner of the deployment zone and have them immediately go for the Banner of Wrath near the small pools of lava. This banner can shoot out a lightning bolt at an enemy unit once per magic phase.

Once you have the banner quickly retreat. If you can avoid the trolls you might get out alive. I found this mission really difficult and probably not worth attempting, although the Banner of Wrath would be a nice addition for any army.
