Patrol (i)

Magic Items: None

Enemy Units: 3 x Clanrat Warriors

Deployment: Ambush. The marching order should be Grudgebringer Cavalry (GC), Mercenary Crossbows (MC) followed up by Grudgebringer Infantry (GI).

Strategy: There’s not a lot to do here but you will need to click quickly. Turn off AI on all your units and then have the MC target the first unit of Clanrat Warriors. The first unit of Skaven should chase of your GC. You can lure them around to the south by running your GC around the rock to the south.

Once the MC gets off two or three shots at the first Skaven unit switch them to the Clanrat Warriors behind. If you get lucky one of the Skaven units will flee. If any of the Skaven units get too close to the MC stand your ground with the GI and GC. You should be able to fend off the Skaven without taking to many casualties.

If any of the Skaven manage to get away they’ll tell their friends and you’ll be ambushed once more before returning to Wissenheim.

Patrol (ii)

Magic Items: None

Enemy Units: 3 x Clanrat Warriors

Deployment: Ambush. The marching order should be Grudgebringer Cavalry (GC), Mercenary Crossbows (MC) followed up by Grudgebringer Infantry (GI).

Strategy: You have even less room to move than the last ambush. Start firing with MC as soon as you can. Make sure AI is turned off otherwise they might move towards the Skaven. Shift the GC forwards so they can protect the crossbows if the Skaven get too close.

Hopefully the MC can scare off one of the Skaven units otherwise there will be one big group battle in front of the Crossbows. Regardless your troops should win the day without taking too much damage.
