Lara’s Manor & Treasure Room

When you enter Lara’s Home you’ll be in front of the obstacle course. This is a good place to try out the controls in a peaceful environment. Keep practicing until you can complete the course as quickly as possible. You’ll need all of these skills when you start playing the real game.

Tomb Raider 2 TrainingJump across the platforms. To jump as far as you can walk to the edge of the platform, hop backwards and do a running jump. Hold Ctrl to grab onto the ledge opposite.

Hop into the water and climb up the blue netting. Position yourself in the middle of the block below and perform a series of jumps. Forwards, right, forwards, left and forwards.

Tomb Raider 2 Jump TrainingJump across again to the next blue netting and run across the bridge. Dive into the water. Use the Swan Dive (Shift + Alt + Up Arrow) if you like and swim through the tunnel. Climb up the netting on the other side and use the zip line to the finish.

Lara’s Treasure Room

After completing the obstacle course run around the house to the left and press the button next to the door to open it.

Tomb Raider 2 Door ButtonDon’t go inside. Instead turn around and enter the hedge maze to the left. A button in the center of the hedge opens a secret door inside Lara’s house. To get to it follow these instructions.

Enter the hedge maze and go left. Follow it around and take the first left. Then left again. Follow it around and take the first left. Follow this around and take the first right.

Tomb Raider 2 Hedge MazeDrop down, run through the tunnel and climb back up to the center of the maze where you can press a button. There’s also some flares on the ground here. Once you press the button you have a limited amount of time to get to the secret in Lara’s house.

Press the button, roll to do a 180 turn and drop back into the tunnel. Run through it and up the other side.

When you hit the wall take a left. Follow it around and take the first right. Take the next right and the next right again to exit the maze.

Make a dash for the door you opened earlier. You move faster by using the running jumps. Enter  the house and go into the secret area under the stairs.

It’s dark in here so light a flare to see your way.
