The Story Begins (Level 1)
In the first level of Trine 2 the heroes are on their own and you control them one by one beginning with Amadeus. There are 30 experience points to find throughout the level and no enemies to encounter.

Amadeus the Wizard
Amadeus is at home, sleeping on his bear rug, trying to memorize the fireball spell when he’s awoken by the Trine.
Move outside the house to the right and follow the Trine. Over the bridges and past the two bouncy mushrooms is the first experience orb. Jump on the bubble to float up to it.
After sliding down the ledge on the other side jump back up on it and onto the lower mushroom. From here pull the platform with an experience potion on it to drop it down to the ground. You can also jump across to the other experience orb.
Lift up the boulder and grab the experience orb under the tree. Go back and jump on the boulder. From here you should be able to see another experience potion on a mushroom growing from a tree. Pull the mushroom down and the experience potion will slide off.
On the other side of the tree there is another potion on a mushroom. Pull that down as well to drop the potion down. Put a box by the cliff on the right to jump on it and up to the next experience potion.
Once you have climbed up you’ll see another experience potion on a platform to your left. Pull the platform up and the potion will fall down so you can grab it.
Just past the large tipping log is a floppy mushroom. Jump on the mushroom and lift it up with Amadeus levitate spell until your high enough to jump up to the experience orb.
Pontius the Knight
Pontius is in the peasant farms taking out the Creeping Vines. Run to the right and hack your way through the vines. On the other side of the vines is your first experience potion. There are a few more vines to slash through before you come to a giant bouncy pumpkin. Jump on it up to the experience orb.
Push the wagon to the right so you can jump up to the next 2 experience orbs and then onto the water wheel. To get the wheel moving you’ll need to hack at the vine which is stopping it from moving. Above the wheel is another experience orb.
Keep your shield above you to protect from falling rocks and grab the experience orb along the way.
Zoya the Thief
Zoya is out late at night beyond the city walls. Jump on the mushrooms and over the wall. Continue to the right and shoot the rope that’s holding the large rock so you can continue through to the right.
There’s an experience potion on a moving platform. You can shoot it with your arrow to flip it and get the potion.
Swing across the next platform for the another experience orb.
Grapple your way up the side of the palace for another two experience orbs and one more experience bottle on a platform.
Jump to the center of the palace tower to meet the Trine and end the level. The three heroes will next be taken into the Forlorn Wilderness.
