Level 13 (Natla’s Mines)
In this level you need to find all of your guns and then take out the three bosses.
Swim through the water and pull up under the waterfall to the right. Run through the passageway and pull the lever on the wall to the left. This opens a wooden door somewhere else in the mines.
There’s no point climbing upwards yet because the path ahead will be blocked. Instead run back down the way you came and dive into the water. Surface on the other side of the boat and pull up where there’s some wooden crates.
The Minecart Room
A passageway leads to the right. Run through it to a room with a minecart to the right. Behind the rock ahead is a movable block. Run around to the left side and pull it out once. Now climb over it to enter the tunnel behind it.
Down this tunnel you’ll see the door that you opened earlier and a switch behind it. Pull the switch to open another wooden door.
Head back to the lake area and dive under the waterfall again. This time continue up the passage and climb up the block past the switch and continue up the passage.
You’ll see some rock ledges, a barricade and water down below. Jump across to the rock ledge with the red and white barricade and follow the passage down. As you run through one room Lara will look up at a white room hanging from the roof. You’ll need some fuses to lower it to the ground.
Continue past this room and into the next cave with rail tracks and abandoned buildings. To your right you’ll spot a movable block.
Push or pull the movable block towards the abandoned building once and then twice to the right. You’ll need it here so you don’t take damage when you drop down onto it later. Climb on top of the block and jump over to the abandoned building with barricades around it.
In the far corner of the building is a collapsible roof. Drop down into the tunnel below. Follow the passage and pull the switch in a small alcove on the right.
This will move the boat across to the other side of the lake. Now slide down the passage and drop down onto the movable block.
Follow the rail tracks. The wooden gate will open as you get near it. Jump across the first gap and as you approach the barricade a boulder will roll past.
Hop back and take a running jump over the barricade. Keep running and take another two jumps. On the last jump lean to the right so you land on the upper ledge.
Quickly run into the passageway at the end. See the pic on the right for the location. A boulder will smash into the wall behind you.
Continue down the passage and pick up the first Fuse.
Follow the passage up but hop back when you hear the two boulders coming towards you. At the end of the passage is a hole in the floor.
Drop down back to the railway. Climb up the ledge straight ahead and run along it to the right. Follow it as it winds around and at the end you’ll find another hole in the floor. Drop down it and this will take you back to the abandoned buildings.
Run back past the room suspended in the air. You’ll use the fuses here later but you need two more. Run back to the lake with the boat.
Dive into the water and climb onto the boat. Do a running jump across to the area with the wooden crates. Climb up the crate on the left and drop behind it.
Here you’ll find crates with Natla written on them. One of them at the back is slightly darker than the rest. This is a movable block. Pull it out once and then push it to the left.
Behind it is another movable block. Pull it out twice and then to the right once. This should clear the way to the switch down the passage. Pull it to move the minecart out of the way.
Go back to the lake and climb up near the three wooden crates with the passage that leads to the minecart room. With the minecart out of the way you can get to the movable block behind it. Push the movable block twice and then run down the passage to the right.
This will take you to an open rocky area with the second Fuse lying on the ground. Dont’ go beyond the fuse unless you’re ready for a boss fight.
Run back to the movable block just past the minecart and climb up it. Jump up to the ledge above, pick up the Uzi clips and pull the lever. This lever opens a wooden gate next to a conveyor belt. Now run back to the lake and pull up under the waterfall. Follow the passage back to the room with abandoned buildings.
This time follow the passage to the left which will take you to the conveyor belt room. Head down the left side and pull the switch past the open gate. This starts the conveyor belt and the third fuse will drop out at the front. Pick up the third Fuse and head back to the cave with the white suspended room.
Go into the white building and place all of the fuses in the appropriate spots on the wall. After placing the third fuse the building will drop all the way to the floor.
Walk into the white room and pick up your Pistols. Go out, climb onto the roof and do a running jump across to the passage opening in the rock wall.
To the right, just as you enter the passage is an opening in the wall above. Turn to the right and jump up to the secret passage. The gate will open as you approach. Drop down the slide backwards so you can grab on as the trapdoor opens. Pull up and the trapdoor will close so you can stand on it.
Jump up to the ledge and drop down into the room beyond for Secret #1. Inside is a large medi pack and Uzi clips.
Climb back up out of the room and head back to the lake area. Swim across to the area with three wooden crates and into the mine cart room. Follow the path behind the mine cart to where you picked up the second fuse.
Run out with your guns drawn and kill the cowboy. Jump and dodge or use your spare medi packs to stay alive. When he’s dead run up to him and pick up your Magnums.
If you look down off the ledge you’ll see lava down below. There’s a small ledge you can safety drop down to.
Go to the edge of it and safety drop once more to a ledge even further down. Pull up and grab the small medi pack. There’s also a crevice here. Grab onto the crevice and work your way as far as you can to the right and then drop down.
Head to the right and you’ll see another crevice on the left. Jump up to it and grapple across to the right. Drop down once you reach the end of the crevice.
To your right on the far wall is another crevice. Jump over to it and hang on. Shimmy across to the right and drop down when it’s safe to land.
Follow the tunnel around and down until you come to the bottom of the lava pool.
From here jump diagonally across to the platform in the lava.
Turn left to face the tunnel and take a running jump to the platform on the right. Jump to the central platform ahead and turn right.
Jump across to the passage in the right wall. Push the moving block forwards once and then pull to the right side. This will expose a hole in the roof.
Jump up to the left side turn around and you’ll see Uzi clips and a large medi pack. This is secret#2.
Run down the passage and drop down onto the rail tracks. Head towards the boulder and pick up your Shotgun, more Uzi clips and another large medi pack.
Run towards the boulder and squeeze through on the left side. It may take some fiddling but eventually Lara will be able to fit through. This will take you back into the room with the movable block below secret #2. Jump up again to the secret area and this time run to the back right of the room where you picked up the medi pack. There’s a hole here that will drop you back next to the lava tunnel.
Jump to the central pillar, turn right and doing a running jump to the pillar on the right. Running jump to the next pillar and then to the last pillar on the left. Finally jump to the floor on the other side of the lava room.
Through this passage is a slide to a lava pit. Slide down and then jump across to the other side. In the next room you’ll find crates with TNT. The one to the far right is movable.
Pull it back once, to the right once and then back five more times to the center of the next room. From here you can climb on top of it and jump across to a passage in the wall to the left.
Run through the tunnel which will take you to another lava pit. Jump across to the left side, wait for the boulder to come rolling past and then jump over to the far side.
Continue down the passage which leads out to a large open area. To your right you’ll see a switch. Run over and pull it. This will detonate the explosives.
Turn around, pick up the magnum clips and run back to where you came, jumping over the lava pit and down the tunnel. You’ll see the TNT crates have been destroyed. Head to the left over the rocks and get ready for a fight.
This is the Skateboard Arena. The Skate Kid will attack with your Uzis so you need to keep moving or risk being shot to pieces.
Once he’s dead reclaim your Uzis and jump down into the small pool of water on the left side of the room about half way down.
This is Secret #3 and contains Uzi clips, a small and large medi pack. Swim up and climb out into the rocky tunnel.
Climb up the blocks and drop down back into the Skate Park. There are Uzi clips right where you drop down. Run forwards to the center of the park, turn left and run up to the Skate Park exit. Follow the tunnel around to the left and watch out for boulders coming down the large sloped passage.
Three boulders will fall when you’re running up the passage and one will roll from side to side when you are near the top. With the boulders out of the way continue through the passage to the left.
Climb up the wall to the left into a new room and then climb up the pillar diagonally to your left. Turn around and jump over to the next pillar diagonally to your right.
Turn around and jump and grab the rock ledge jutting out. Pic to the left.
Pull up and jump and grab the higher pillar to the left. Pull up and jump and grab another pillar to the left.
Pull up and climb up to the right. This will take you to a small sandy colored section.
Push the movable block twice to open up a new area. This part can be quite confusing and you’ll need to climb up and down through a number of holes in the ceilings/floors.
Sandy Colored Rooms and Movable Blocks Puzzle
To make things easier I will number the levels one through five. Level one is the first level with the movable block that you pushed twice.
From Level 2 climb up the right into Level 2. Pull the movable block out once and then push it to the right. There is a gold door here but you can’t open it yet. Instead drop down the hole into another part of Level 1.
Pull the movable block out once. This will let you push it from the other section to reveal a switch. Go back up to Level 2 and drop down to the first section of Level 1. Push the movable block and pull the switch to open the gold door on level 2.
Climb up to Level 2 and go through the gold door. Follow the passage down to another movable block. Push it once to reveal another gold door. Just before the gold door on the left is a switch. Pull it to open the gold door on level 1.
Go back and drop down to Level 1 and head through the gold door.
Final Boss Fight
Draw your weapons because as soon as you go through the gold door on level one you’ll trigger the third and final boss fight.
Once he falls pick up the Shotgun and continue forwards to the Pyramid.
You’ll see a closed golden door in the center of the Pyramid and flat spots you can jump to on the right hand side. Climb up to the ledge above the door and jump over to the first flat spot to the left.
Jump to all the flat spots, to the right and then left three times. Jump as far left as you can go and you’ll slide down to another flat spot that opens to a small room with a switch Pull the switch and run back to the buildings in front of the Pyramid.
One of them has a large medi pack and Pyramid Key. Use the Key on the Pyramid Door and run through to end the level.
