Back to Yooka-Laylee and the Impossible lair

To unlock the device holding the Beettalion you need to find the five Gems scattered about this level.

Right Side

From the starting Checkmate walk to the right and climb up the ice steps. Jump into the cannon and shoot your way up to the green door. Go through to the next section.

Drop down the trapdoor but keep the Gremlins alive. Drop down the next two trapdoors while letting the Gremlins down as well. Roll through the door and use one of the enemies to jump up to Coin #2.

Continue up to the left for the Gem and then go through the green door back to the start of the level.

Head to the right again and this time continue past the ice blocks. Climb up the vines and go through the purple door to the green door.

Make your way around the vines while avoiding the flames from the robots. Continue past the Laylee Bell and when you see the Gem continue up to the room to the right for Coin #1.

Go back through the purple door for the second Gem and then through the green door to the start of the level.

Head to the right and go all the way past the spider on the vine. Roll through the purple door and drop down to the water. Swim around to the other side and go through the green door.

Drop down through the ice and swim through the hidden passage to the left for Coin #4.

Swim to the right while avoiding the Octopuses and then up to the top. Grab the third Gem and then head through the green door back to the start of the level.

Left Side

From the start head to the left and climb up the ice ramp. Climb up the ropes and go through the green door.

Make your way across the moving platforms to the fourth Gem. Getting across while avoiding the jetpack enemies can be a little difficult.

Climb up the rope and jump on the next platform. Duck down under the ice platform to pick up Coin #3 which can also be seen in the image above. Go through the green door back to the start of the level.

Jump straight up to the rope by the green door and then onto the platform and next rope. Jump up to the cannon and you’ll be shot over to a windmill with platforms.

Slide down the vine to the right and then jump over the Crab to the green door. Once inside you’ll need to do a lap around the ropes to grab the Mine. Drop down and avoid the Psycho Snail while you use the Mine to get Coin #5.

Make your way around again and this time break the last Gem and go through the green door back to the start of the level.

Once the Gems have been dropped off by the statue the Beettalion will be released. Smash it to rescue Jeff Dronan.
