Back to Novigrad

This quest can be initiated in one of two ways, either find Aeramas’ Abandoned Manor out in the country to the east of Oxenfurt or find the shop in the Gildorf district of Novigrad and buy the Lizard Figurine.

The Gildor shop can be found two building south of the Passiflora, near to the southern side of St. Gregory’s Bridge.

The merchant here sells a few quest items but the only one related to this quest is the Lizard Figurine. Buy it and head out or return to the abandoned manor.

When you find the manor walk up the stairs to the second floor where you’ll find a chest with the Diagram: Enhanced Feline Armor.

Walk back down and investigate the magic circle on the main floor. If you have the Lizard Figurine you’ll be able to activate the portal. Step through to enter Aeramas’ Chamber.

Chamber of Cheese

Aeramas was a Tyromancer, a diviner of cheese! Unfortunately it stinks and you’ll need to work your way through the mazy of stinky cheese to the other side. Aard or Igni will not work to remove the poisonous toxin.

On othe other side make your way up and proceed to the next area. Continue along the path to a dead end. Look closely at the tiles to find a way to activate another portal. Head through and then go down to the water. Dive in and swim along the northern passage.

Aeramas’ Laboratory

Climb up the other side and jump across the broken bridge. At this point a Foglet may attack. Kill it and head into the main part of the laboratory.

Inside the laboratoy you’ll find a Bull Figurine and Aeramas’ Notes. If you have The Eye of Nehaleni you can use it to uncover an illusory wall. Behind it is more loot and random diagrams. When you’re done activate yet another portal to go to the final room.

Inside this room you’ll see a magical barrier. Use Igni on the pyramid to the right and the barrier will lower. Head up the steps for the steel sword, The Emmentaler, and loot the chest for the Snake Figurine to activate the final portal. The portal behind the statue will take you back to the abandoned manor.
